Spring Sing

Meeting details

Saturday 10th April, 2-4pm over Zoom (more details to follow)

Music

All the pieces are in the WGMA Red Book but are also available here along with the recordings we will be using on the day. The words we will use for Psalm 47 (Old Foster) are not in the Red Book so you will need the version below for this one.

Click here for a printable copy of the running order, with the Zoom meeting details and passcode, and also details of verses (including ones not in the Red Book or the usual CWGQ versions) and repeats.

Click on links in the table below to view the scores and/or play the tunes.

  • PDF: to view (and print) the score. Most browsers will handle these without you installing anything extra.
    • 232 - Ps 47 (Old Foster): we will not be using the Red Book words so all singers will need to use the CWGQ version. However, instrumentalists will need to use the Red Book or CWGQ 67 for the symphonies.
  • MIDI: to listen to sound without the score or download for use with MIDI players. Some browsers will handle these without the need to install anything but some may need a separate MIDI player. The files are small and can be used in a variety of ways by other programs if you know what you are doing.
  • Audio: an MP3 (or M4A) recording of the piece being sung (by ourselves or another quire) or synthesised music. All browsers shoud be able play these without the need to install anything.
